Welcome to Mjolnir Arms

Mjolnir (pronounced: myol-nir), being the name of the Norse God Thor’s hammer, is the most appropriate name for this company. Rob, the owner, received his first Mjolnir pendant in 1981 when visiting his extended family in Norway. He still has it. Our group of friends, as college roommates in the early 90’s, turned the five-car garage of the house we rented into a workshop.

Being self-taught in craftwork, woodwork and gunsmithing of cartridge firearms, a saying was quickly adopted; “When in doubt, get a bigger hammer!” Mjolnir is the biggest hammer there is, and so, the name stuck!

Mjolnir Arms is dedicated to the preservation, restoration and recreation of vintage military firearms. Rob brings gunsmithing skills, a love of military history and retroactive design talents which work together beautifully to bring both custom and historically accurate firearms to the market.

At Mjolnir Arms, our goal is to offer recreations of hard to find parts and accessories for rare and obsolete cartridge firearms as well as new made recreations of original military and police firearms from the ages.
